چکیده

Global environmental pollutants are becoming intense because of the increasing human population, urbanisation, and industrialisation. Human health ecosystem affected by soil water contamination. Therefore, creating strategies is essential to tackle this persistent issue. In process, risk associated with these can be signifi-cantly reduced. Previously, traditional remediation techniques have been employed in combating pollutants, proving ineffective. Mycoremediation, which uses fungi or their compounds remediate has shown a cost-efficient, environmen-tally friendly, effective method that includes organic, inorganic, emerging contaminants (antibiotics, pharmaceuticals). This review provides an overview various mycoremediation approaches through for biosorption, precipitation, biotransfor-mation, sequestration pollutants. addition, removal metals, persis-tent organic other was highlighted. For example, such as Pleurotusdryinus, Trameteshirsuta MK640786, Aspergillusniger shows 91%, 94%, 98.4% degradation ranging from pesticides azo dyes, respectively. Furthermore, prospects remove heavy metals waters soils were discussed. It elucidated great potential pharmaceuticals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), pesticides, weedicides. The findings suggested knowledge gap exists enhance rate process. possible framework proposed facilitate promising technology rectifying global problems. procedures possible, further studies needed on fungal enzymes’ role, activities, regulation.

A Review on Current Status and Future Potential of Transdermal Patches as a Promising Drug Delivery System

Transdermal patches are now widely used in topical and transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDS). Up to now, TDDS has been used in several conditions, such as smoking cessation, analgesic effect, nausea, contraception, and hormone therapy. Basically, there are two types of transdermal patches: the reservoir-type patches and the matrix-type patches. First generation TDDS were designed for deliver...

Remediation of Heavy Metal Contaminated Soils: Phytoremediation as a Potentially Promising Clean-Up Technology

Increased soil pollution with heavy metals due to various human and natural activities has led to a growing need to address environmental contamination. Some remediation technologies have been developed to treat contaminated soil, but a biology-based technology, phytoremediation, is emerging. Phytoremediation includes phytovolatilization, phytostabilization, and phytoextraction using hyperaccum...

Current Diagnostic Status of Pheochromocytomaand Future Perspective: A Mini Review

Pheochromocytomas (PCCs) are rare neuroendocrine tumors. The current diagnostic tools are based on biochemistry and histopathology results, but heterogeneity of diagnostic markers, signs and symptoms of PCCs bring a lot of difficulties for these two current methods. Unfortunately microscopic understanding of PCCs is not adequate for its confident prognosis and management. There are data linking...

Mycoremediation of Petroleum: A Literature Review

Mycoremediation is a cleanup technique within the larger field of bioremediation. In this literature review, the history, species and methods of mycoremediation are investigated. The literature suggests that many fungi have the ability to degrade a wide variety of pollutants. The functional group white-rot fungi have previously been shown to biodegrade petroleum using extracellular enzymes, and...
